I'm so happy to be sharing this cosplay with you! Dark Elsa as been an idea that's been floating around in my head for a while now, and once i saw Lillyxandra 's Dark Elsa i got inspired to make my own. I was able to use a lot of stuff i already had, the material for the skirt is from my Princess Luna cosplay, and i covered a corset that i had bought years ago for the top, and i already had the wig! 

I have been working on a song for this cosplay, in place of "Let it Go" that i hope to film a video for in the summer. For me with this Elsa, she saw Anna as her 'light' the thing that kept the darkness at bay and when she said she was getting married to Hans, Elsa only thought of how she was going to lose her light. The kingdom is then plunged into eternal night, Elsa leaves the captiol but keeps her crown, unwilling to give up her power. I liked the idea of Dark Elsa being a tragic villain. There are some little hiccups in my ideas for this story would be different, but i'm working through them. ^.^
